Out of every 3*365+367 days there are 367 days that are in a leap year. Randomly select a number from 1 to 3*365+367 and if the number (representing a person's birthday) is between 1 and 367, say that it indicates a person was born on a leap year. To simulate, do if ( 1 <= ranNum <= 365) then 1 otherwise 0. Do this 3*365+367 times. Let ranNum be a number uniformly distributed between 1 and 3*365+367. Count the number of 1's and divide by 3*365+367, this will simulate the event of someone being born in a leap year. Answer should be close to 367/(3*365+367).
