someone please help I've been stuck on it for awhile. fill in the missing term so that the quadratic equation has a graph that opens up, with a vertex of (-3, -25) and x intercepts at x= -8 and x= 2 y=x^2+6x-?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know how to FOIL

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so set it up in FOIL form and just put the question mark in the blank spot

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then we will work it out together

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know how to set it up ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so you have x^2 which means (x*x) right (x )(x ) and since the thing you are looking for is (-) we would add a + and - because +*- = and -# (x + )(x + )

OpenStudy (anonymous):

does that make since so far

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah it makes sense

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok god

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*good

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
