Expected Value Question? Seems pretty simple? Two standard dice are rolled. What is the expected number of ones obtained?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know it would be pretty simple, but I don't really understand what it means by the NUMBER of ones.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@wgary the number of \(1\)s refers to the number of times \(1\) was the result of a die roll when we roll two dice

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But, how would I get that? just 1/5*1/5?
