A diameter of a circle x^2+y^2-4x-2y+3=0 passes through (1,3). Find the equation of this diameter (I already found the midpoint, what do I do next?)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have the mid point which is the center and another point is given, so where is the problem ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Mm, I'm not so sure how to sub it in the formulas~or which one in the list to use :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I already got it xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay you have m is the slope and equals \[\Delta y /\Delta x\] and you have y=mx+b you just substitute for any point you like between the two you have and you will get it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep yep, got it mate, thanks xD

you are welcome :)
