{(-2, -7), (3, -5), (6, -4), (9, -6), (10, -1)} is this algebra problem a function or not a function

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

hint: a relation is not a function if you have two points with the same x value, but with different y values ex: {(1,2), (1,3), (2,4)} is NOT a function since plugging in x = 1 gives you y = 2 and y = 3 at the same time. Each input should only produce EXACTLY ONE output for it to be a function
