Complete each of the following statements, if F(x)=(2/3)^x A. The domain of F(x) is ______. B. The range of F(x) is ______. C. The y-intercept of the graph of F(x) is _______. D. The horizontal asymptote of the grpah of F(x) is the (x-axis/y-axis). Circle one. E. The graph of F(x) is (increasing/decreasing) from left ot right. Circle one. F. The value of the _______ determines whether the graph of an exponential function is increasing or decreasing from left to right. I need Fast help with this PLEASE!!

OpenStudy (psymon):

Well, the only numbers you exclude from the domain are numbers that make the function undefined. Are there any values of x that make your function undefined?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no.

Right, so that means domain is all real numbers. As for the range, we need the smallest value of y all the way up to the largest value of y. Now unless there is an extra + or - a number at the end of your function, exponential functions are always going to look something like this: |dw:1376193796680:dw| As you can see, I never go below the x-axis (y=0). So since your function does not have an additional shift up and down, can you get the range?
