Henry is 53 and Lucy is 33. In how many years will Lucy be three fourths of Henry's age?

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

@Pkk7 If Lucy is 33 now, how old will she be in x years time?

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

@Pkk7 I can only help you if you respond

OpenStudy (mary.rojas):

@asnaseer Was my math/explanation wrong?

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

yes - you are taking 3/4 of Henry's age NOW. The question was how many years need to pass by before Lucy's age will be 3/4 the age of Henry's age at THAT time.

OpenStudy (mary.rojas):

.. you just confused me, but thank you for letting me know. I am deleting my replies so it does not confuse others or misleads them :)
