This has already been answered, but If your not familar with Pemdas that @NathanB used then I'll just post that right now :-) It is the order in which you should do the equation Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally Taking the first letter of each gives us PEMDAS P=Parenthesis Solve what is in parenthesis first E=exponents solve exponents next M=multiply D=divide A=add S=Subtract
