Check my answer?? What is the product of the product of 3 times the square root of 10 x and 2 times the square root of 15 x? Simplify if possible. 30xsquare root of 6 150xsquare root of 6 11x2square root of 6 30square root of 6 times x squared <- answer

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you're very close, but the x is NOT in the square root

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

it should be \(\large 30x\sqrt{6}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then its the first one!?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

why? because you'll multiply the two 'x's in the square roots to get x^2 but the square root of x^2 is just x (they cancel each other out) this is assuming x >= 0

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thank you!

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you're welcome
