Prove that in any linear equation of two variables(x, y) of the form ax + by = c the value of x and y will be equal to zero if c=0.

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

I am confused by the question y=(-a/b)x + 0 is of course linear.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

YOU WILL HAVE TO SHOW THAT HOW C=0 ?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

? sorry still confused...it says assume c = 0, and now you are asking how to show it.
