2bx+cy+cx+2by

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x+y)(2b+c)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you regroup??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I see that there is a common between 2bx+2by and cy+cx And you can see also that there is a common monomial between them Right .. Then Factor it , it mean your need to extract their common . (2bx+2by) (cy+cx) use common monomial 2b(x+y) + c(y+x) if u see that we have 2 X+y so we need to copy it by ones then copy the expression outside the parenthesis so your answer is (2b+c) (x+y)
