- Help would be greatly appreciated - Proofs - ____________________________________________ Look at the figure. (In the attachment) --- Triangle ABC has the measure of angle ACB equal to 45 degrees. D is a point on side AC. Points B and D are joined by a straight line. Angle ABD measures 45 degrees. --- Make a two-column proof showing statements and reasons to prove that triangle ABD is similar to triangle ABC.

Anyone?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Statements Reasons Angle ABD is equals Given to Angle ACB. Angle BAD is equals Same angle to Angle BAC. Thus, triangle ABD is similar to triangle ABC. (AA)

Triangle ABD is similar to Triangle ABC because of what reason? @TURITW

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Did you learnt the conditions for similar triangles?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oooh, AA Theorem. Gotcha. Thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Actually angle ABC and angle ABD are different, it would be angle A= angle A by reflexive property
