90 degrees the 90 degree angle in the corner of the square is split in two which makes one half = 45 degrees. A triangle = 180 degrees, so 180- (45+90)= 45. 45 degrees equals angle 2. Because the shape is a square, the angle between angle 1 and 2 would equal 45 degrees as well, making that entire angle equal to 90 degrees which would be the same amount as angle 1.
