Lets start with the first one!\[(3 -8i)-(6+2i) \]Distribute the negative sign!\[3 -8i-6-2i\]Combine the like terms :) \[3-6 -8i-2i\]\[-3-10 i\]Can you do the rest?

Can you do the other problems?*

OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):

The second one. (4+2i)(1-5i). Multiply like this 4(1-5i)+2i(1-5i). Multiplying through you get \[4-20i+2i-10i^{2}\] remember \[i^{2}\] is -1 so the final solution is \[14-18i\]
