What is the slope of a line that passes through the point (−2, 3) and is parallel to a line that passes through (3, 7) and (−2, −8)?

OpenStudy (ybarrap):

Parallel lines have equal slopes, so if you find the slope of the line from <3,7> to <-2,-8>, then any line with that slope will be parallel to it. Including lines going through <-2,3>.
