where's the question..?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Divide: 7 times a plus 28 all over the quantity a minus 4, end quantity. ÷ a squared plus a minus 12 all over the quantity 14 times a, end quantity.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[{7a+28\over{a-4}}\div {a^2+a-12\over14a}\] Yes?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so I'm sure you know of "Keep it, Change it, Flip it" ...so let us do that! \[{7a+28\over{a-4}}\div {a^2+a-12\over14a}~~~\implies~~~{7a+28\over{a-4}}\times {14a\over a^2+a-12}\] now just multiply across:\[(7a+28)(14a)\over(a-4)(a^2+a-12)\] factor:\[{7(a+4)(14a)\over(a-4)(a-3)(a+4)}~~~\implies~~~{7(14a)\over(a-4)(a-3)}\] and so you're left with:\[98a\over a^2-7a+12\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh now I understand!!!!!!! THANK YOU(:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

AND U WERE RIGHT!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lol, glad I could help! :)
