two sides of triange measure 10 in and 16in. write an inequality that could represent the length of the 3rd side of the triangle.

We know the triangle rule that states that the sum of any 2 sides of a triangle is ALWAYS greater than the third side! Thus the inequality to find the third side (x) can be 10 + 16 > x Thus x < 26 :) I hope this helped! :)
