Which is not considered a pioneer species? A. An oak tree B. Grasses C. A lichen D. A moss
wouldnt it be A, an oak tree?
@amistre64
@thomaster it is A right?
Do you know what a pioneer species is?
yep like lichens, moss, and grasss, etc
pioneer species is like bacteria
Well the actual explanation would be organisms who colonize on previously disrupted ecosystems, like rocks or lava during primary succession. And an oak tree is not one of those species, so you're right :)
