What is made up of all populations in an area? A. community B. ecosystem C. habitat D. niche B right?

thomaster (thomaster):

No, an ecosystem is a community of living organisms in conjunction with the nonliving part of the environment. So B is false. I also basically gave away the answer now :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh so its a community!!! lol

thomaster (thomaster):

correct :P The living part is called a community (all the populations together, so plants, animals etc) The community and the nonliving part (the rocks, the water and sunlight etc) together is called the ecosystem.
