Quick please help!!! Nancy drew parallelogram ABCD as shown. On the same grid she will draw parallelogram PQRS similar to parallelogram ABCD with the ratio of corresponding side lengths PQ and AB equal to 3 : 1. If the coordinates of vertex P are (-3, 4), what could be the coordinates of vertex Q? (0, 5) (6, 4) (3, 4) (9, 4)

@Hero , @genius12 can you please help

@wolf1728

OpenStudy (noelgreco):

What have you done so far?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I tried counting the the distance apart from eachother but im taking a wild guess -(0,5) @NoelGreco

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@wolf1728 looking good?

hero (hero):

What is the length of AB?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk?

hero (hero):

If you put the points on graph paper, it might be easier for you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont have graph paper so that's why im just trying to make an estimate

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

Here's the graphic - the answer is b (6,4).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@wolf1728 ok let me review it and i'll try to solve it too, to get the same anwser

hero (hero):

@wolf1728, you should have helped him get to the answer on his own. That would have been more beneficial for him.

hero (hero):

That's what I was proceeding to do before you posted the answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Hero your right about that but @wolf1728 i understand it now and can do the others on my own; thanks!!

hero (hero):

Well, yeah, you have the answer now, so of course you can do it.
