There are two methods to solving this problem, either convert it to a log or graph both equations

On your calculator you will find a "log" button so type 71 log and 27 log divide the 71 log result by the 27 log result
Let's assume I don't. The hint of the question was: log(a^x)=x * log(a)
I don't think we need to use that hint..
