OpenStudy (anonymous):

divide you gonna get an irrational number

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

@supraron don't just give away answers, please.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ooook luigi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Will you please go through it step by step?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's 27^x not 27*x...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Will someone please explain to me how to get this answer? I asked for help not an answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OH sorry rebecca lol yeah ur right euler

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

There are two methods to solving this problem, either convert it to a log or graph both equations

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I mean use logs rebecca

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need to understand this. I'm taking a college chem class and apparently my math isn't quite up to snuff. Please explain it step by step

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

@Rebecca_Barrett do you know how to convert between logs and exponents?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

On your calculator you will find a "log" button so type 71 log and 27 log divide the 71 log result by the 27 log result

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Let's assume I don't. The hint of the question was: log(a^x)=x * log(a)

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

I don't think we need to use that hint..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Probably not. It's confusing
