Even without data, there is a global recipe that will have to be applied. First, calculate the volume of the piece of wood. Second, divide the total weight of the piece of wood by this volume. The result is the density of that piece of wood. As (most) wood floats on water the density is expected to be below 1000 kg/m3, which is the density of water.
