This is my last problem I need help with on the review, but it says: Write the equation of the vertical line that contains the point (-5, -4). I know that -5 is x and that -4 is y. During my Algebra 1 class, we actually barely did any equations like this.

Vertical line means the equation is in the form of x = a. Now, the line contains (-5 , -4) so just take the x-coordinate as a and you get x = -5.
