How to express in simpliest form, with a prime number base?

You mean this? 6 = 2 • 3
Just divide the number by prime numbers starting with 2 until you get a decimal, then go to the next prime number and stop until 1.
Example 6 / 2 = 3 3 / 2 = 1.5 (not valid) 3 / 3 = 1 (stop) 6 = 2 • 3 Another example 20 / 2 = 10 10 / 2 = 5 5 / 2 = 2.5 (not valid) 5 / 3 ~= 1.67 (not valid) 5 / 5 = 1 (stop) 20 = 2 • 2 • 5 = 2^2 • 5
