Can someone please check if my answer is correct??????? A section of a tessellated plane is shown. Which type of symmetry does the tessellated plane have? A) rotational and reflectional B) reflectional and translational C) translational and rotational D) glide reflectional I guessed A. Would that be correct or incorrect?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well it isn't rotational

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B or D would be my guess

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which one do you think is closest?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It isn't Translational either

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Please help dude @Ahmad1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So most likely D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D. Glide Reflectional

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to be honest I don't know much about this, actually I don't even know what they mean. I'm so sorry to let you down dude :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its all good :) i will have to guess D. thank you both. @Cami.j.sinclair @Ahmad1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you are welcome @cocopuffs90 I hope I can be more convenient next time

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Glide reflection: The symmetry that a figure has if it can be made to fit exactly onto the original when it is translated a given distance at a given direction and then reflected over a line.

thanks.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

welcome. Good luck.
