Chlorophyll is where photosynthesis takes place. Tracheids are elongated cells in the xylem of vascular plants that serve in the transport of water and mineral salts. Chloroplasts are organelles filled with chlorophyll. Haploid cells are cells which contain a pair of each chromosome. Which one of these is the most helpful when a plant wants to live away from the water?
