Find the value of y for which the line through A and B has the given slope m: A(-2, 3), B(4, y), m=-2/3.
I know, but my stupid professor give us assignments like this. And I can't memorize most of these stuffs.
When did I laugh at your question?
Whatever, you win. Do you know how to do this problem?
I got -1 but that's not the right answer.
You're supposed to solve for y, the slope is already given, -2/3. (y-3)/(4+2)=-2/3. And I got y=-1. Is this right?
y in B(4, y).
Then how come the answer key says something like y=-5/3?
That stupid professor must die from my hand someday, I'm serious. Anyways, thanks, mean woman.
Who's stubborn?
HAHAHA, you're not stubborn. I'm stubborn.
OK. hehehe.
@Microrobot
