final grade= (0.70 x Assignment average) + (0.30 x Final)
If the assignment average is 96.71 and the final is 90
what is my final grade???

Hey!
Look so here
Assignment average is given to be 96.71
and final = 90
And we are told to find
Final Grade = (0.70 x Assignment average) + (0.30 x Final)
So just put the values like this!
(0.70 x 96.71) + (0.30 x 90)
Now MULTIPLY FIRST and then ADD [ Acc. to PEMDAS rule ]

r u sure that i dont have to put a decimal for the final like .90?????

See after mulyiplying 0.30 x 90 you get 27 right?
Because there are 2 decimal points and 30 * 90 = 2700
So 27 = 27.00
