Okay so it is a jar! So we require only the CSA and the bottom! :) So Amount of glass required would be? \[\pi r^2h + \pi r^2\] Understood? Now we have radius = 1/2 * diameter = 1.5cm And height as = 6cm!! Substitute the values in and you get the answer!! :)
