Help please?
So to find frequency we see HOW many times it has appered! okay?
5,6,9,3,1 how do i find the %
Then to find RELATIVE FREQUENCY We find the percentage RELATIVE TO THE OTHERS! Here A's relative frequency = No. of A's/the total number of observations And that you mulyiply by hundred to find %
So here A = 3 * 100/24 = 300/24 = 12.5% Getting me? :)
wait A is 5..
so 5/24*100
I see only 3 A's!!
@nslesin ?
my bad lol
so 3/24*100
YES!! :) Similarly do ALL like that got it? :D
i got 12.5%, 33.3%, 37.5%, 33.3%, 4.2%
how do i do the cumulative frequency?
I don't think your answers are ACCURATE! Check the calculations okay? Because it SHOULD add autpo 100% :)
3/24*100= 12.5 8/24*100= 33.3 9/24*100=37.5 3/24*100= 12.5 1/24*100= 4.2
|dw:1376591003560:dw| So basically Cumulative frequency puts the total in the last in an orderly data! You will learn later in Statistics!! :) Understood what I said? :D
Yeah and YOU ARE RIGHT!! :D
Cumulative frequency is defined as a running total of frequencies. The frequency of an element in a set refers to how many of that element there are in the set. Cumulative frequency can also defined as the sum of all previous frequencies up to the current point.
total cumulative frequency is 81?
See the total CF = 24 BECAUSE IT GIVES US THE TOTAL DATA!! That means the total number of observations in data! Cumulative frequency is defined as a running total of frequencies. [REFER TO MY DIAGRAM] :)
You don't just add up the cumulative frequency for the total?
No you STOP when you get the total amount! Understood? :D
see where it says total on the bottom then cumulative frequency what is that?
So what is that cumulative frequency
24 in this case! Remember 'Cumulative frequency is defined as a running total of frequencies.' Got it? :)
so like this?
YES!! :D
so it will always be the same as the total frequency..
