Religion is the cause of much war and bloodshed. It is a mistake to hold one religious belief rather than another. All faiths should unite in the beliefs that they all share.

I'm not sure Religion is the cause of war, there was war prior to Judaism between ancient Egyptians and Sumerian, which both had religion but the war's were for territory and wealth. Before that the city-states of the Tigris Euphrates fought each other for same reason. Frankly war has always been one culture trying to control another for resources regardless of religion, in fact it's the perversion of religion that actually allowed this not the religion.
