Determine the factors of 5x2 + 29x − 6
The only factors of 5 is 5 and 1. Therefore: (5x )(x ) Factors of 6 are 1, 2, 3, 6. Because it's -6, the one number has to be positive and the other must be negative. The two numbers cannot be 2 and 3. However if you try 1 and 6 you get (5x+1)(x-6) The answer is (5x+1)(x-6).
medal xD
nahh i disagree with @romanortiz65
\[(5x+1)(x-6) = 5x^2-29 x-6\]
@tiviaj did you get the right answer now:)?
AND WHY IS THAT HUH
DUDE ITS THE SAME THING XD
\[(5x+1)(x-6) = 5 x^2-29 x-6\]
Yes thank you ;)

@tiviaj said 5x2 + 29x − 6 not 5 x^2-29 x-6
dude you are wrong.
AY SOME_SOMEONE CAN YOU HELP IM STUCK IN A EQUATION
no. because i am wrong. according to you.
XD I WAS KIDDING MAN
PLUS WE GOT THE SAME THING
\(5 x^2+29 x-6\) factors to \((x+6) (5 x-1)\)
I know this question is a year old, so sorry for bumping it xD But.. I'm on this problem as we speak, and it is multiple choice. Romanortiz65 (can't tag you), your answer of (5x+1)(x-6) isn't a choice. However, Some_Someone (also can't tag), your answer of (x+6)(5x-1) IS a choice. So for anybody else who is looking for this in a year, the answer is (x+6)(5x-1), as some_someone came to.
