there's two ways you can do this. One you can set 80 equal to 2x-40

or you can set 80 PLUS 2x-40 equal to 180. Let me explain

Ok, since the lines are parallel, those two are supplementary angles by default. Therefore 2x -40 = 100 You get 100 by 180 -80
