what are the differences between Judaism , Christianity and Islamism ? \

OpenStudy (kenljw):

Original Christianity was a form of ancient Judaism, presently nether Christianity or Judaism today exist in it's ancient form. Ancient Christian and Jews were known as the People of the Book in Islam, Muhammad used the Book and his own revelations to write the Koran. The basic root of all three is the Torah-The Five Books of Moses-Pentateuch with the ancient Jewish prophets. Christ was the fulfillment of some of the ancient Jewish prophets according to Christians with Jews denial.

Christianity and Judaism share a common foundation. The Old Testament of the Christian Bible is the Jewish Torah. Where Christianity and Judaism separate is on the identity of the Jewish Messiah. Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, fulfilled the prophecies of the Old Testament, and has already come. They believe that He will RETURN. Judaism does not believe that Jesus is the Messiah, but that the Messiah is yet to come (and therefore cannot 'return'). Furthermore, Christians believe that Jehovah or Yahweh, the God of the Old Testament, has created a new covenant with the New Testament Church comprised of Jews and Gentiles (the Old Testament covenant being with the Jews alone, the nation of Israel). Judaism believes that the Abrahamic/Mosaic covenant holds and the laws of the Torah must yet be kept by Israel/the Jews. Separately, Christianity itself has numerous sub-denominations, each with its own disagreements and agreements with Judaism. For instance, some believe that the Church has replaced Israel; others, that God still keeps His covenant with Israel and will fulfill it in the future.
