this can sound pretty dumb but I kinda need to review the unit circle! for example: when I need to find the "zero's" of 2cosx, how do I know that its pi/2 and 3pi/2???

the angles are measured from positive x axis .... 90 degrees gives us y=sin=1; x = cos = 0
