can somebody tell me the volume of prisms formula

Directrix (directrix):

If the prism is a right prism, then the volume is the area of the base times the height of the prism. Do you have a particular problem you'd like to work? @KAOOR

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

depends on the prism

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like a cube

OpenStudy (anonymous):

athe question says what is volume of cube each small cube is a cubic cm and here si what it look like the cube

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i cant draw;/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but can someon tell me cube volume formula

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the sides have 4 by 3 and the bottom and top have 4 by 3 too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 4*3=12 12*2=24

Directrix (directrix):

Again, it would be the area of the base of the cube times the height of the cube. All edges of a cube are congruent. The area of its base would be its edge times its edge. The height is also the length of an edge. So, think of the volume of a cube as Volume equals the cube of the length of an edge.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so can you check my work?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its above ur comment

Directrix (directrix):

This is not a cube: the sides have 4 by 3 and the bottom and top have 4 by 3 too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeaah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

O SRRY I MESSED UP THE TOP AND BOTTOM HAVE 9 CUBES IN ALL BECAUSE THEY ARE 3 BY 3

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

can't you take a screenshot of the material?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dotn knwo how to

Failure to do so may cause your work to be lost. Question 1 (Multiple Choice Worth 4 points) Sarah wrote a multiplication expression to find the volume of a cube. Which expression might Sarah have written? two times two times two two times four times eight three times three times nine one times one times two Question 2 (Multiple Choice Worth 4 points) In the diagram below, a figure is made of small cubes. Each small cube is one cubic centimeter. Which is the volume of the figure? The figure consists of three layers of three rows of four cubes. Each block represents one cubic centimeter. twelve cubic centimeters twenty-four cubic centimeters thirty-six cubic centimeters forty-eight cubic centimeters Question 3 (Multiple Choice Wo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i did paste and copy

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

press PrintScr button, next to the F12 key on the keyboard, then go to Paint, and paste there, save as jpeg or gif, and here click on the [Attach File] blue button

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:/ its confusing

Directrix (directrix):

Does the diagram look like the one I attached?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

confusing to take a screenshot?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

look the sides are 4 by 3 and the top and bottom are 3 by 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just look at my description of it

Directrix (directrix):

If it has these measures, the volume is the area of the base times the height. V = 3*3*4 = ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so the formula is b*h*w? right

Directrix (directrix):

Yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

o thx i will see if a answer has a number that is 3 time 3 time 4

Directrix (directrix):

I see it.
