Hi, why is the does Carbon have 4 unpaired electrons in lewis: http://gyazo.com/fd232f73e57cd751fcc49c50a53e9468 Its configuration is 2s2 2p2 so there are only 2 unpaired electrons!? Thanks in advance!

lewis structures don't describe orbitals, so it's kinda arbitrary to write them like in the picture you posted.
