simplify: see below>>>

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ x^2+3x-10 }{ 2x^2+x-10 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did anyone get \[\frac{ x+5 }{ 2x+5 }\]

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

x^2+3x-10 = (x+5)(x-2) 2x^2+x-10 = 2x^2-4x+5x-10 = 2x(x-2)+5(x-2)=(2x+5)(x-2) so yes

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

nope

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

I didn't solve it so I didn't get any :P

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

lol

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

assumptions can be nasty:)

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

we would like solutions to be shown next time though :)
