Are they asking you to just scale the triangles?
Or are they asking you to move the triangle by the scaling factor with respect to the origin (0.0)? So the question I have is are you supposed to change the size or translate the position (or maybe something else). This is not clear to me. You have more context based on where this question came from.
Moving an object is called translation, so I don't think this is about moving. Scaling has more to do with size, generally. If scaling up or down by some factor, we would need to take each length and multiply each by that scale factor. Perhaps the reference to (0,0) is to start drawing the object there?
