OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, are you familiar with the distributive property?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah I got an answer I got on here to get help on the ones I struggled with in case I did them wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's fine. Want me to correct your answer or do you want me to explain each step to find the answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can I tell you what I got then if I did it wrong explain each step????

22.) -(2x-5y)+3(4x+2y) -2x--5y+12x+6y -2x++5y +12x+6y Answer-(10x+11y) you would subtract 12x-2x add 6y+5y because they're "like terms"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes that is correct, you would subtract 12x-2x to equal 10x and you would add 6y+5y to equal 11y. Your final answer being 10x+11y :)
