When we say the ration of This to That it means make a fraction of This over That or in our case AB over BC Does that make sense?

so as you can see the length of AB is 3, and BC is 9.

So we put 9 in the denominator so now we have that the ratio is 3/9 Can you reduce that fraction to lowest terms?
