Question

I'm very aware that OpenStudy used to utilize a ranking system (sorta like gaming?) but now that there's SmartScore, they got rid of it.

I'd love to have something like it, in conjunction with SS.

Also: I would love Achievement!

Achievements are implemented in a wide range of studying services (Like http://www.khanacademy.org/ and others), and I think it would be so cool if OpenStudy would add something like that.

When I studied in Khan Academy, that was one of my favorite part: badges and achievements.

Moreover, a lot of these features are implemented (or originated) from a more gaming-oriented environment. I believe that this would add some extra fun.

Well.. smartscore kinda is a ranking list.
Also OpenStudy used to have achievements.. but they removed that feature. Probably because people would abuse it or something.
They should bring it back though.

Why should OpenStudy get features "like" other study sites?
It's like saying" Os is going to be like the next Khanacademy!"
Os doesn't want to be the next anything.
Openstudy should be the first Openstudy.

Achievements that would never be earned. Most of these OS user ask question much more than answering they get a high SS score for no reason. For now I don't see this happening yet.
