2 6 / 7 ~= 3 5 1 / 4 ~= 5 3 • 5 = 15
Reason is because they are closer to 3 and 5 respectively
TURITW is correct....2 6/7 6/7 is more then 1/2, so it is rounded up yo 3, and 5 1/4......1/4 is less then 1/2, so it is rounded down to 5.
