What is the slope and y-intercept of the graph of 3x + 6y = 36? slope = -2; y-intercept = (0, 36) slope = -2; y-intercept = (0, 6) slope = 6; y-intercept = (0, -1/3) slope = -1/3; y-intercept = (0, 6) I tried the intercepts method, but I got 12 for x, and that's not a choice.

See to find the slope and the y-intercept of a line ALWAYS right it in the standard form of y=mx+b So this equation can also be written as y=-1/2x+6 So the slope should be -1/2 and the y intercept should be (0,6) Understood? :)
