So that whole bottom part should be 18 straight across. As of now, you have a length of 5 on bottom and a length of 8 on bottom, but that extrapart sticking out you dont know the width of. Well, I extended the lines down to show you how the top part, which is 18, is the same length as the width of all the bottom parts combined. So if you need a totalof 18 and two of the bottom 3 pieces are 5 and 8, then you use that info to find that bottom length.
