Think about ways that you can use indirect characterization to show how your hero has changed.

Indirect characterization simply means that you cannot tell the audience exactly who your character is. For example "He is rich" would be direct characterization. "He owns five mustangs" would be indirect characterization because the reader must infer that the subject is rich. Heroes are usually going to be courageous, loyal, and noble so you could look for examples in the text. "He wrestled the lion with his bare hands"; I can assume that the hero is courageous and strong. I hope this helps you.
