If I remember correctly, there is a formula for this, and it's\[L=\int_a^b\sqrt{\left(\frac{dx}{dt}\right)^2+\left(\frac{dy}{dt}\right)^2}dt\]where \(a=0\) and \(b=1\) in your case.
