Which of the following does not represent the set of integers from 1 to 9? {integers from 1 to 9} {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9} {1, 2, 3, …, 7, 8, 9} {integers greater than 1}

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Well, can you say which of those does? If something does, it is not the answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if all else fails, list them ^.^ Except the second choice, that's already listed... you can also ignore the first, since it's just a copy of sorts of the set described in your question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but go ahead, list down the integers from 1 to 9 if it suits you ^.^

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Another thing you could do is pick a couple test points that are not in 1 to 9, like say 10 and -1. If either 10 or -1 are in the set described by one of these answers, then it is the correct choice. While this test is not always going to get the answer, it is a good one and will work in this case.
