add and simplify 2x+10/(x+5)^2+x/x+5

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

In these types of questions try to get things that will cancel each other out! Like for example here if you take 2 common in the first terms' numerator then You can cut one (x+5) out. Then you'd be left with 2/(x+5) + x/(x+5) Now simply add them as your denominator is the same! So the final answer should be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2x/x+5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2+x/x+5

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

why multiply? WE HAVE TO ADD! So finally the answer would be 2+x/x+5 Understood? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah I saw my mistake

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

Good job! :)
