Ok so, you know how you can combine like terms? Like if you had to simplify 3x + 4y - 2x + y, you would combine the like terms to get x + 5y right?

So 3 ^4√3 and 5 ^4√3 are like terms and -8 ^3√3, 4 ^3√3 are also like terms. So once you combine them you get that answer.
